Senior Pastor
Pastor Robert A. O'Neal, III & Lady Rashida O'Neal
Pastor Robert O’Neal III, a devoted follower of Jesus since 1995, has been faithfully serving the local community. In 2014, he was appointed as the Senior Pastor of Shepherd’s Way Christian Church. His heart’s desire is to lead a congregation where biblical principles are both preached and lived out. Pastor Robert actively cares for the needs of those around him, connects people to Jesus Christ, and fosters spiritual growth in individuals.
His ministry extends beyond the pulpit. Pastor Robert collaborates with people from diverse backgrounds, providing spiritual leadership and engaging in missionary work using a variety of strategies. Currently, he is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology from the College at Southeastern.
Family is central to Pastor Robert’s life. He has been joyfully married to Rashida, a native of Jamaica, for 22 years. Together, they are proud parents to two children, Amanda and Peyton.
As a pastor, Pastor O’Neal is known for his powerful preaching, commitment to leadership development, and compassionate counseling. He continues to deepen his theological knowledge by pursuing studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Beyond his pastoral duties, Pastor Robert enjoys expressing his musical talents by playing the keyboard and drums. And yes, he’s an enthusiastic N.C. State fan.
